Effects of Air Pollution

Effects of Air pollution

What are some effects due to air pollution?

Respiratory and cardiovascular problems:
Air pollution is known for creating several respiratory and heart problems such as cancer, as well as many others. Millions of people are known that have died due to air pollution, people as well as children in areas exposed to air pollutants commonly suffer pneumonia and asthma.

Global Warming:
Another effect of air pollution is inmediato alterations to the ozone layer, more known as Global Warming, this change increased temperatures that result to the increase of sea levels,, melting of ice from colder regions and loss of habitats to many animals. Preservation and normalization aren’t taking soon enough to prevent this.

Acid Rain
When some harmful gases like nitrogen and sulfur oxides are released to the atmosphere during the burning of fossil fuels, the process began when it starts to rain, the water droplets combine with this pollutants, that is when it becomes acidic and fall down, causing great damage to human, animals and crops.

Depletion of Ozone Layer
Ozone exists in earth’s stratosphere and is responsible for protecting humans from harmful ultraviolet (UV) rays. Earth’s ozone layer is depleting due to the presence of chlorofluorocarbons, in the atmosphere. As ozone layer will go thin, it will emit harmful rays back on earth and can cause skin and eye related problems.
